- Side effects of medications (eg, antibiotics, anticonvulsant drugs, or anti-cancer)
- Poor diet (less intake of animal protein, fruits, and vegetables)
- Deficiency of vitamin or iron
If not
Does the patient have a history of sickle cell anemia, thalassemia, or
G6PD/glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase enzyme deficiency in
family?
Does the patient have a history of:
